Registration is now underway for the 50th Annual Los Angeles Harbor Holiday parade, to be held on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 1.
With the theme of “50 Golden Years of Holiday Lights”,15th District Councilman Joe Buscaino will preside as Grand Marshal for this year’s sparkling spectacular of boats that will celebrate the parade’s golden anniversary and all the great features of the Los Angeles Waterfront and working Port.
Entries will be judged and trophies will be awarded in the following categories: Theme, Traditional, Humorous, Holiday Spirit, Best Animation, Commercial, Most Original, Children’s Choice, Judge’s Choice, and Grand Marshal’s Award. Yacht Clubs will be vying for the coveted Perpetual Trophy, awarded to the club with the most entries.
Entry Fee is $30.00, which also includes admission to the Awards Brunch, to held at the DoubleTree Hotel, Sunday, Dec. 2 @ 10:00 AM.
50th Anniversary Celebration immediately following the parade at The Plaza at Cabrillo Marina , 224 Whalers Walk, San Pedro. 8:30 – 11:00 PM. Live Entertainment, Appetizer Buffet – $12.00 Cover Charge.
