The annual parade of boats in LA Harbor is not just a festive event kicking-off the holiday season, but also a fundraiser that benefits local youth organizations and non-profits. Toys will be collected by participating host clubs and distributed through the Rotary Club’s Christmas Eve Poverty Program and the Los Angeles Dept. of Recreation & Parks, for the Banning Park Holiday Event. This is also an opportunity for the harbor-area business community to show their support and get noticed.

To make this a holiday season to remember, we’re asking our retail businesses and terminal operators along the Port’s main channel to consider putting up holiday lights to brighten the parade route for the participants on dozens of brightly decorated boats and the thousands of spectators along the waterfront.
Or consider making a donation to help the cause and have your logo displayed on our Sponsors/Contributors page, with a link to your website. Donations of goods or services that can be used as Parade Awards, Raffle or Door Prizes during our Parade Awards Brunch, are also gratefully recieved. Please visit our Donor’s Page and review the list of sponsorship levels available and help make this years event truly “Golden”. |
